First Time Topping American Idol Earners List

On January 6, 2016, Adam was announced by Forbes as the top American Idol earner for the preceding year 2015 with $10 million, ahead of Carrie Underwood ($8M), Daughtry ($6M), Phillip Phillips ($5M), Scotty McCreery and Kelly Clarkson (tied with $4M).
